		<description>Hi ... I came across your blog after googling &quot;independent bookstores&quot; and linking to 43 things.  I am also in the process of opening my first bookstore (primarily new books), and know what you mean about the haters who say you won&#039;t make any money.  They are SO missing the point.  Money is not the issue.  I love books, and can&#039;t imagine a better job than working in a place where the people (customers and employees) share that same love. I also think indie bookstores can make a significant contribution to a neighborhood and community in terms of culture and thought.  Don&#039;t let anyone discourage you.  Good luck!!</description>
